Backup checks

One of the most important things that a business must have in place is a solid backup solution. Many businesses who use tape backups will work on the basis that if the tape ejects then it must have worked, this simply is not good enough any more. We undertake daily backup checks for our clients to ensure that that backup job has run and verify the job result, should the job fail to complete successfully then we investigate the reason why and resolve it. Additional to this we can undertake a routine check, each month, to restore data from your chosen backup device to verify that the data on the device is usable. After all, the worst time to find out you cannot use the data is when you need to restore it.
